Scholarships & Financial Aid
Dartmouth College does not offer merit-based scholarships. Instead, it provides need-based financial aid and meets 100% of demonstrated financial need for all admitted students, including international applicants. Since the Class of 2026, Dartmouth has adopted a need-blind admissions policy for international undergraduate applicants, making it one of the few U.S. universities to do so. Financial support includes:
- Need-Based Financial Aid
- International Student Financial Aid
- Dartmouth Scholarship Grants
- Graduate Fellowships
- Teaching Assistantships
- Research Assistantships
- Departmental Fellowships
- External Scholarships
- Work-Study Opportunities
Students from families with annual incomes below certain thresholds may qualify for significant grant-based aid, and eligible students can receive loan-free financial aid packages depending on their financial circumstances.
